Ayn

Privacy

Ayn does not collect anything about you. This page explains what that means in practice, because "we value your privacy" is what everybody says.

There is no account

You do not sign up. There is no email, no password, no profile. Ayn does not know who you are and has no way to find out.

What you tell Ayn stays on your phone

Your name, your birthday, the hour you were born if you give it, what is in your cupboard, your book entries, the people you write down, and anything you ask her are all stored on the device, in local storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, it is gone, and we cannot recover it because we never had it.

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising

Ayn contains no analytics library, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nobody is measuring what you tap.

The network

Ayn works fully offline and is designed to. If a future version checks for updated content, that request carries no personal data and no identifier: it asks for a file and nothing more. Any link that takes you to another website, such as a shop, opens in your own browser, and once you are there that site's rules apply rather than ours.

Purchases

The tarot course is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. Apple tells the app whether you have bought it. We never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple ID.

Children

Ayn is not directed at children and collects nothing from anybody, of any age.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves. Nothing gets collected quietly in the meantime.
