Ayn

Privacy

Ayn does not collect anything about you, apart from a record of what you have bought, if you buy anything. This page explains what that means in practice, because "we value your privacy" is what everybody says.

There is no account

You do not sign up. There is no email, no password, no profile. Ayn does not know who you are and has no way to find out.

What you tell Ayn stays on your phone

Your name, your birthday, the hour you were born if you give it, what is in your cupboard, your book entries, the people you write down, and anything you ask her are all stored on the device, in local storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, it is gone, and we cannot recover it because we never had it.

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising

Ayn contains no analytics library, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nobody is measuring what you tap. There is exactly one outside service in the app, and it handles purchases and nothing else. It is described under Purchases below.

The network

Ayn works fully offline and is designed to. It does check for updated writing when it opens, and that request carries no personal data and no identifier: it asks for a file and nothing more. Any link that takes you to another website, such as a shop, opens in your own browser, and once you are there that site's rules apply rather than ours.

Purchases

There are three things you can buy: the tarot course, the written deep report, and extra moon comparisons. Apple takes the payment, so we never see your name, your card details, or your Apple ID.

Purchases are managed for us by RevenueCat, and they keep a record of what was bought so that the app knows what you own and so that Restore works when you change phones. They give your copy of the app an anonymous identifier of their own making. It is not your name, your email or your Apple ID, it is not linked to anything else about you, it is never used for advertising, and it is not sold or shared. Nothing else about you reaches them, because nothing else about you ever leaves your phone.

Children

Ayn is not directed at children, and nothing on this page works differently for anybody, of any age.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves. Nothing gets collected quietly in the meantime.
